Please listen to and obey all advice given by the Health Officials. Things will return to normal at some stage- the most important thing is that everyone we care about is there with us when we get back to normal life.

Christmas Jumper Day

On Friday 20th December, don’t forget to wear your Christmas Jumper and donate €2 to the Simon Community, a very worthwhile cause.

The school will close at 12.00 on Friday 20th December and will re-open on Tuesday 7th January 2020.

Wishing you all a very Happy Christmas and good wishes for 2020, from all the staff of Glenmore National School.

Christmas Concert 2019

The children from Glenmore National School are very busy at present, preparing for our Christmas concert on Wednesday 18th December in Glenmore Community hall, at 1.30pm. Junior Infants to Second class will perform their Nativity Play – ‘Donkey for Sale’. Third to Sixth class will get you into the Christmas spirit with a selection of Christmas carols. We would love to see you all there.

Little Red Kettle Theatre visit

The Little Red Kettle Theatre company will visit Glenmore Community hall on Wednesday 4th December 2019. The children of Glenmore N.S. will become the stars of the show taking on the role of the characters in the play and dressing up in their characters’ costumes, all for the cost of €5 per child.

Halloween Fancy Dress Day

In aid of the Glenmore Golden Club, the children are invited to dress up in their Halloween costumes on Friday 25th of October 2019. The cost is €2 per child or €5 for a family of 3 or more. There will be a prize for the most original costume in the class, so the spookier and the scarier the better!!

Dog’s Trust Visit
