Thanks to Mr. Murphy we have a Green Flag committee. The Green Flag committee will help to promote Green initiatives within the school and local area. We are focusing on our waste within the school in 2026 and looking at ways of reducing. For example we are choosing compostable napkins and cartons for use with our hot lunches. Also we have changed our hand towels in our bathrooms to compostable choice also. This is bringing down the refuse tally. The committee are also looking at our bins and making sure we are separating our recycling.
For Spring our Green flag committee put up new bird feeders so our feathered friends can see out the the long wet period we have been having – well done to all.
