The school would like to welcome back Denis and Olivia and the Funky Kids Programme. Over 10 weeks all children will participate in music, art, drama and games. At the end of the programme the children will deliver a super show for all to attend. Costumes and sets will also be put together by the children. ‘Bring it ON!’

Fire Safety Visit
Thank you kindly to Leo and Chris of the Graignamanagh Fire Service for their visit to 3rd and 4th class. The officers gave a great lesson to all on fire safety awareness and all present learned many tips to keep ourselves safe in the future. All the children took on the challenge of learning their Eircodes after the talk.

Christmas Cheer in Glenmore N.S.
Here is a sample of some of our festive activities and art.
Thanks to the Students Council who organised the Christmas Disco for the junior and senior classes in the school.
The Christmas performance was enjoyed by all. A big thank you to Miss Ryan and Miss Keane’s classes for their nativity performance ‘Whoops A Daisy Angel’.
Mr. Grant’s and Miss Kelly’s classes then treated everyone to a selection of Christmas songs, directed by Miss Cooke.
Thank you also to the Parents Association for the fantastic prizes in the Christmas Raffle.

Ice Skating At Winterval
Students from 3rd to 6th Class enjoyed a excellent morning of Ice Skating at the Waterford Winterval Ice Rink. The cold conditions did not chill the Christmas Spirit and fun. The morning was rounded off by some hot chocolate in Carter’s.
Everyone had a super time. Thank you kindly to Parent’s Association for financial support for the trip and transport costs.
Football Fever 2022
Well done to 5th and 6th class girls who recently reached the semi-finals of the Cummann na mBunscoil Girls 7’s. The girls showed great team spirit and heart. Although beaten by Gowran and Clogh/Mooneenrue the girls had a great victory over Mullinavat. Thank you to the parents for all the help on both days.

September Assembly
We held our first assembly of the year. All classes shared their learning experiences with the other groups over the month of September. Students winners of the ‘Student of the Month’ were awared their certificates. ‘Maith sibh’ to all involved.
